FAQ

A few useful
answers.

The product, the research direction, and what you can explore in this first release.

What is Syntherisk?

Syntherisk is an early-stage research project developing software to evaluate and compare candidate synthesis routes in the context of practical laboratory constraints.

Does it replace retrosynthesis tools?

No. It is designed to sit after route generation. Existing retrosynthesis tools propose routes; Syntherisk’s focus is evaluating and comparing them.

What does it aim to evaluate?

Our development focuses on reaction evidence, practical conditions, resource constraints, and uncertainty at each step, so route-level trade-offs are easier to examine.

Can I run a yield prediction here?

Not yet. This first release presents the product direction and an interactive preview. The trained yield model is not connected, and the preview does not calculate or validate yields.

What can I explore in the prototype?

Explore the proposed yield workflow, rotate a caffeine molecule using public PubChem coordinates, and inspect an illustrative route comparison. Route examples are explanatory, not experimental results.

How can we collaborate?

Start with a conversation about your laboratory workflow. We can discuss scope, evidence needs, and how a future pilot could be evaluated before any research data is shared.
